Acupuncture is a complex branch of ancient chinese medicine and Americas fast growing healthcare method. With acupuncture needles, or other means we stimulate acupoints along the course of the meridians. This balances the flow of chi and sets the stage for the body to repair itself and maintain its own health. Acupuncture needles are extremely thin (about the width of a human hair), so most people feel minimal discomfort during insertion. Some patients report a slight pinch, while others feel nothing at all. Once the needles are in place, you may experience a mild tingling, warmth, or heaviness in the area, which is a sign that the treatment is working.

The number of sessions needed varies depending on your condition and how long you've had it. Acute conditions may see improvement in just 2-3 sessions, while chronic conditions typically require 6-12 treatments. After an initial consultation, Daniela will recommend a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. Depending on the patient's condition and the treatment plan, treatments can range between 30 and 50 minutes.

For acupuncture, wear loose, comfortable clothing that can be rolled up to access points on your arms and legs. For massage therapy, you may undress to your comfort level (you will be properly draped at all times). We provide gowns and blankets as needed to ensure your comfort and privacy. If possible, schedule yourself to avoid stressful situations and to give yourself time to relax after the treatment.

We have a superbill available for reimbursement from many insurance acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine benefits. Cash or check is accepted: Credit cards are not accepted at this time.

We require 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer the time to another client in need of care. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) or no-shows will be fully charged for the service fee. We understand emergencies happen and will consider exceptions for genuine emergencies.
